Tomatin 12 year old

Elegant and airy with a big smooth texture, the 12 years aged Tomatin is a classic single Highland malt. A true delight for discerning whisky drinkers, Tomatin is carefully matured in tradtional oak barrels to produce the lightly peated, delicate flavour which charms connoisseurs.

Tomatin 18 year old

This world class malt has been aged for a minimum of 18 years and married for a period in distinctive Spanish Oloroso sherry casks to produce an exquisite whisky.

Nose: Intense and spirity to begin.  Delicious sweet sherry burst follows, plateaus with undertones of apple, cinnamon, vanilla, maple syrup with just a hint of smoky heather throughout.

Taste: Sweet and sugary start with an oaky edge.  Develops in the mouth with a bite of citrus and dark chocolate.  Long lingering dry aftertaste with warming alcohol finish which keeps the mouth alive for several seconds afterwards.

Colour:  Natural colour.  Deep Golden Amber.

Tomatin 25 year old

The 25 year old Tomatin is a rich, full whisky with a predominantly malty fragrance. On the palate, the spirit is quite dry, with an aromatic aftertaste - which leads one to naturally address it again.

Nose: A wonderous combination of ripe pears and orange zest over the resins of pine or cedar.

Taste: It is honey-sweet for an instant; thereafter, dry, nutty and savoury, through the sweetness hovers on the edges of one’s consciousness well into the long dry aftertaste.

Tomatin 30 Year Old

A classic vatting of two ex Spanish Oloroso sherry cask finishes, chosen by our Distillery Manager for outstanding quality. This is a limited edition of 1500 bottles, a truly superb whisky which is sure to sell out quickly.

Bottled at 49.3%abv and non-chill filtered.

Tasting notes:

Colour – deep gold
Aroma – polished leather, fruit cake, orange and cloves. Some brine in the background. Well rounded – suggests full body.
Taste – orange spice; very smooth, almost creamy
Finish – quite long, satisfying, front-of-palate

Tomatin 40 Year Old

An exceptional vatting of seven oak hogsheads, chosen by our Distillery Manager for outstanding quality. This is a limited edition of 1614 bottles which is sure to prove extremely popular among collectors and connoisseurs.

Aroma – beeswax, stewed apples, raisin. Orange peel; hint of marzipan.

This is a single cask bottling. Cask number 12267 – all bottles numbered.

Aroma: exotic orange-spice, light fruit cake; butterscotch, some grapefruit; deep and mellow.
 
Taste: exceptionally smooth and full-bodied; an initial sweetness gives way to orange peel and cloves with some background vanilla.

Antiquary 12 year old

A smooth well-balanced, deluxe blend which displays the mellowness expected from a top quality brand. Each whisky has a minimum age of 12 years and has been selected to combine all the strengths and subtleness of Scottish whisky at its best.

It is simply a superlative dram.

Nose: The excellent balance of fruity and malty aromas reflects the significant use of fine Speysides malt in this blend.

Taste:  The subtle fruitiness contains a hint of apples. The outstanding smoothness, depth of flavour and long aftertaste is the result of exceptionally high malt content.

Antiquary 21 year old

This is an exclusive blend which combines fine Speyside and Highland malt with a splash of Islay and the fragrance of Lowland grains to create a truly exceptional whisky. All the whiskies used in this blend are at least 21 years old - and together they deliver a taste of unrivalled sophistication.

Antiquary 1977

Created by Tomatin’s master blender to commemorate the 150^th anniversary of
J & W Hardie, the founders of The Antiquary. This very special blend has been limited to 1148 bottles, and is based on the Hardies’ original recipe.

Bottled at 46%avbv and unchill-filtered
Matured in specially selected American and European oak casks.

Tasting notes:

Colour – deep amber
Nose – sweet, smooth and mellow, marshmallow, a hint of citrus. Definite treacle toffee.
Palate – warming and nicely rounded, citrus comes through along with a hint of bitter chocolate.
Finish - full lingering aftertaste with just a hint of peat.

Nose: A complex bouquet of fruits and maltiness, with some pleasing graininess, provides ample evidence of the skills of the blender.

Taste: This superior blend delights the palate with lots of distinctive honey and vanilla flavours combined with hints of apple. The well-rounded aftertaste slowly reveals a medley of subtle, peaty notes which linger long on the palate.

Culloden Cream Liqueur

A warm chocolaty-cream colour leads you into pleasing aromas of hazelnut and chocolate, with faint whisky in the background.

The taste is rich, creamy and smooth, and the nutty influence is to the fore, followed by the chocolate and some clean alcohol.

There is a well-rounded, lip-smacking aftertaste of coconut.
